It's great of Squidoo to do this, they are very charity minded, and a very caring group. It's nice to be amongst such caring people. I will be casting my vote later.

Katinka/Poddys

Thank you for the congrats. I've been working for over 10 years now trying to educate people that grief is a normal response to a loss, since we don't tend to do well with the topic.

Obviously events such as 9/11 make people more aware of grief and reliving those memories, as Poddys noted can be painful.

It would be best not to have to create lenses on Grief and Loss, but as long as people are alive and love, they will experience loss and experience grief.

I was at Ground Zero on Saturday and it was very moving, just seeing the places I had seen on tv, re-living so much when visiting the WTC Tribute Museum. It was hard to talk without choking as the hurt and memories came back.

Looking forward to the radio show, congratulations.

That lens is great. No wonder it got you a radio gig. Is it alright to congratulate you on getting to speak on such a solemn topic? Not sure - but I'm sure you feel grateful the topic gets the attention it deserves.

I was at Ground Zero on Saturday (6th September). It's the first place I have been where not only the Tribute Museum but also the nearby St. Pauls Church both had boxes of tissues out for the visitors. Very moving to visit there.

9-11 was actually my son's 21st birthday. The events of that day pretty much washed away any celebration that he was to have.

This 9-11 I will be calling my son in England to wish him a happy birthday, watching some of the events on tv and recognizing places that I was this past weekend (my first trip to New York), and otherwise working as usual.
