My Good Deeds for 9/11

Last year My Good Deed was to make a lens to help promote My Good Deed.

This year part of My Good Deed was to donate 100% of the proceeds from the lens to Operation Helmet, a fitting tribute because 9/11 is the reason the troops are fighting in these areas.

The other part was to once again spread the word within the Squidoo Community.

More about My Good Deed

MyGoodDeed Inc is a nonprofit 501c3 group created by 9/11 families and friends shortly after the terrorist attacks on America. The group launched this initiative to honor the thousands who were killed and injured on 9/11, to pay tribute to the many who aided in the rescue and recovery efforts, and to remember and rekindle the remarkable spirit of unity that existed in our nation in the days following 9/11.

The long-term mission of the group is to transform 9/11 into a national day of voluntary service, and give individuals and organizations the power through dynamic online networking to make a difference in the world, one good deed at a time.
